One quarter of Orange County is open space with vast parks that offer recreation from golf and tennis to hiking and kayaking. We are the only county in New York located between two rivers, the Delaware for canoeing and rafting, and the Hudson for cruising (we have 3 excursion boats). Between those rivers, the interior rolling hills of farmland provide numerous farm stands, and locavores will love the restaurants that source their menus from the county’s fields.
